Build Your Future is a social entrepreneurial skills programme which consists of 5 modules that are designed to support you as a learner and provide you with hands on practical experience and opportunities to try new things and learn key employability skills required to be a social innovator/entrepreneur.
Each module is designed to build upon the next to bring you through the different stages of development of a social innovation ideas/projects.
Module 1 Background
This includes: What is Entrepreneurship? Looking at the social entrepreneur in me. Looking at our passions and skills that we can bring to the course, “telling our story” as young entrepreneurs. Going out and about in our local area to explore our community for opportunities and ideas.

Module 2 Idea Development
This includes: How to generate ideas, recognising gaps in structures/local social issues & identifying opportunities. “Every problem is an opportunity”. Using our creativity and sharing our ideas to develop real solutions as a team.

Module 3 Marketing
This includes: Understanding marketing concepts, how marketing can be used to share and promote our ideas, business planning and strategies. What types of marketing do we see everyday, what can have access to? We also will have guest entrepreneurs come visit us.

Module 4 Operations/Testing
This includes: Prototyping and testing, learning how to pitch ideas and accessing resources. Going on trips to Site Visits to learn from businesses and social enterprises on how they operate.

Module 5 Business Planning Social Impact
This includes: Business planning, identifying local opportunities to support your business and its social impact and sustainability.
