Build Your Future hosted two events these past two weeks: a North Inner City global cafe to discuss how to support young people’s social entrepreneurship and, just today, an introduction to employability skills by joining Sky Academy’s Career Lab.
Eight young people participated in an interests-based career quiz to give them a head start and then could check out 270 videos of people doing each type of work at Sky. From retail cashier to the production department, Sky took us on a creative journey which culminated with our brainstorming an imaginative new TV show.
While no Lab’s groups’ ideas have turned into an actual show… stay tuned. They were impressed today!
